MARTINA LIU

Martina Liu (age 13) is a Grade 7 student at West Point Grey Academy. She plays piano and violin at RCM Level 8. A lover of fine art, golf, and Chinese dance, Martina is an energetic, playful child with strong time-management skills. She has participated in the Kiwanis Music Festival for three years, earning top‑three placements in multiple classes.

In July 2025, she earned her RCM Level 6 Piano certificate with First Class Honours with Distinction. She also received the 2024 Steinway Standards of Excellence Awards for Young Artists. Her musical life remains vibrant: she is a violinist in the WPGA ACP Symphony Orchestra, a choir member, and a lead actor in her school graduation play. Martina has grown up surrounded by music; for her, playing the piano is a joyful, self‑indulgent hobby. Looking ahead, she hopes to explore different styles, combine singing with piano, and bring creative ideas to the stage. This Extravaganza marks her first collaboration with a symphony orchestra — a precious milestone celebrating her years of piano study.
