kayla leung

Kayla Leung is a sixteen-year-old pianist who started playing the piano when she was four years old, studying under the tutelage of Erica and Clinton Giovanni Denoni. She quickly progressed on the piano, regularly competing in music festivals. When she was 11 years old, she won first place in Mastery’s School of Music’s Concerto Competition. In addition, she competed in the Chilliwack Lions Club, achieved top marks, and was a merited performer. Her competition experience includes the Pacific International Piano Competition, Kiwanis Music Festival, and the KPU International Music Festival. Right now, she is working diligently to pursue her ARCT diploma.

Kayla is also a part of her school chamber choir. She loves singing because she believes it elevates her music background. Apart from playing the piano, she loves to dance and read. This is Kayla’s second year with the Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra, and she is super honoured to get the opportunity to play with them again.
