Jasleen Yang

Jasleen Yang is a grade 10 student of UHill Secondary School.She began to learn piano at four years old .At age 10, she received her school’s Annual Music Award. At 13, she performed a piano solo at the Brescia International Music Festival in Italy. At 14, she won First Place and a Gold Award for Level 10 Piano at the Chilliwack Music Festival.

Jasleen currently plays first clarinet in the Senior Band at her School and the Vancouver Student Symphony Orchestra. She is also a member of the Vancouver Chamber Choir.

Jasleen has a wide range of interests. She is a member of the badminton and volleyball school teams as well as the VPSC Swim Club. She also enjoys figure skating, drawing, and origami.
