Candice Li

Candice Li is an 11-year-old Grade 5 student who began playing piano at age 5 and plans to continue as long as she can. She has a wide range of interests, including drawing, music, dancing, and reading books and stories.

At home, Candice shares her life with three cats — one of whom has given birth twice, bringing ten playful kittens into the family! Her favorite piano styles are jazzy pieces and works from the Romantic era. She is currently preparing for her RCM Level 8 exam and is aiming for the best score she can achieve.

A highlight of Candice’s musical journey was traveling to New York, where she performed at Carnegie Hall and earned first place in the Crescendo International Music Competition. She is excited to soon have the opportunity to perform with an orchestra in 2025.
