August Xu is an 11-year-old pianist and violinist with a profound love for music. His commitment to his craft has been recognized through numerous accolades, most recently at the 77th Chilliwack Music & Dance Festival, where he earned 1st place in both the Baroque and Classical Grade 8 categories, along with the prestigious Joseph Bayer Baroque Trophy of the Year.

August excels in both performance and competition, consistently refining his technique and embracing new repertoire with curiosity and passion. When he’s not at the piano or violin, August enjoys sailing and playing tennis—pursuits that reflect the same focus, discipline, and joy he brings to his music.
